Sports in Marbella

The city of Marbella provides us an idyllic location for aquatic sports in any of the multiple beaches surrounding the city: windsurf, scuba diving, water, skiing and fishing, or simply sailing. It is an ideal place to enjoy some leisure, free time activities, with an amazing annual average temperature and a clear, pure air.

Nevertheless, golf is the sport art that has launched the city as an international referent. Eleven golf courses are distributed all along its council, being, some of them situated in astonishing locations, as SANTA CLARA. This last golf course is situated on the top of a natural balcony, a watchtower overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Also, included in this marvellous are we can find the URBANIZACIÓN SANTA CLARA real estate. A place with nice houses to rent after a marvellous golf day.

As we approach the city from the Malaga airport, we find a group of houses, villages and plots surrounding a wonderful golf course. This is the URBANIZACIÓN SANTA MARIA GOLF estate, perfectly placed in the area as long as there is just 30 minutes by car to Malaga and 10 minutes to Marbella. The course allows the golf player to enjoy great of the Mediterranean sea and Marbella mountains.

As we ascent to Sierra Blanca, following the Camino de Camoján, we find the URBANIZACIÓN CASCADA DE CAMOJÁN estate, located in an idyllic spot. Next to it there is a golf course that gives rise to the name of another estate of the area: MONTE PARAISO. This very young golf course (built in 2003) has very modern and practical facilities, being one of the most demanded in the area.

Some other remarkable courses in the area are RIO REAL, GREENLIFE GOLF CLUB or REAL CLUB DE GOLF LAS BRISAS.
